An off the cuff October Recap✨

An off the cuff October Recap✨

A little vulnerable, in the moment post- my life and brain have been fuzzy lately. I’ve made some big decisions that try as I might to outsource them to other people, I had to go with what felt right for me. The more I tried to make the “practical” choices, the more those doors were closed. So I let go- I gave up the fight and said ok God- fine. I’ll do it your way.

Once I made the big scary jumps and let go of the ego identity and lack mentality I was clinging to I sat in silence and said “well now what?” My spirit guides said “Just be as bright of a light as you can. We don’t need profound entrepreneurs or big world changing intellectual thoughts at this current moment. We need more people to be ambassadors of the light in whatever way, shape, or fashion we can get them. Wear bright colors, be silly, go all in and whatever you do don’t overthink it” (I love to overanalyze so much though so that was a challenge 🙃) so, equipped with approximately 0 other options, I listened to them and leaned all the way in.

What a great month to get this opportunity to stop trying to be someone I thought I “needed” to be. October gives us a gift of joy just because. No rhyme or reason. I had one of the happiest months I can remember even though some things in my life on paper make not a whole lot of sense and the world is so tense and gut wrenching.

So if you are looking for a sign to be a little more you- here it is :) you’ll never know who needed the smile they got from watching you belt your heart out to Silver Springs driving across the Sullivans Island bridge or being a 37 year old woman in full face and partial body paint but I can assure you it’s worth a shot.
